In my conversation with Astronaut Edgar Mitchell he emphasized that the Dead Sea Scrolls are very important in regard to solving the secrets of the UFOs. "The Zadokite Document," discovered fifty years ago in an old synagogue in Cairo, confirms Genesis and mentions the landing of Spacemen, their giant offspring and immorality. "Because they walked in the stubbornness of their hearts, the Watchers of heaven fell, yea, they were caught thereby because they kept not the Commandments of God. OCEANPORT -- Skywatch International Inc. reports that on May 16, 1999, there was a UFO sighting at 3:34 AM. A Golden red "sphere" was observed at approximately 10,000 feet in altitude, flying due south at a constant velocity, altitude and brightness. This is similar to a thousand other nighttime sphere sightings, with one exception, I live within an equilateral of military bases, Fort Monmouth, Ft. Earl, and C-Comm. HARTSVILLE -- Terry Kimbrell MUFON/ISUR Field Investigator reports sighting a boomerang shaped UFO on the night of May 8, 1999. We were star gazing outside my at 10:27 PM, when my niece exclaimed WOW!!! When I looked up, I saw a "darker than night" boomerang-shaped shadow glide silently overhead. My 16 year old niece and myself witnessed the "glide-over." Even though my field of view was brief, the boomerang outline was very distinct. The object had rounded edges, with 7 yellow-gold lights lining the front edge. One light was at the front and three were down each leg. The lights did not reflect on the object, just points of light, as if they might be recessed. I lost sight after the object passed over the roof of the house. The first sighting was by my niece who saw the object at 40 degrees above the horizon. She saw five patterns connected together in a V-shape at less than a mile. They were a dull gray, reflecting the city lights in the distance from below. She made a drawing on my request showing the shape of the patterns. There were concave arcs on the front and convex arcs on the back. She did not see the 7 lights, that is one reason I think they were recessed in the object. I saw them when the craft was directly overhead. The apparent size was 2 ½ to 3 inches from tip to tip at arm's length giving it a calculated size of 500 to 600 feet. The angle of the boomerang wing was 120 degrees. The craft was flying from the west to the northeast at 500 to 600 MPH. Its altitude was 2,000 to 3,000 feet. The sighting was for 5 to 7 seconds. We contacted police, radar sites, and Sergeant Pintar Shaw Air Base, Sumter, SC. She said they only had F-16's stationed there and no Stealth aircraft, nor boomerangs, etc. My investigation is still ongoing. TAMPA BAY – MUFON's David Ring writes they have started investigation of the Lsound case and his videos. The images he presents under magnification may be distortions. (This may be due to the difficulty of obtaining good night time videos.) The area where lights are being seen is on the flight path to Avon Park Bombing Range. Flares are know to be used in the area. He does have some unusual video footage which has been evaluated by one of our local computer whizzes that seems interesting. We need to obtain more information about Lsound's unusual experiences. There may well be something there, but additional investigation is needed. Lsound claims to have seen a physical craft about 50 to 100 feet above his car after chasing one of the lights last year. That does not mean all the lights he or his children see are physical craft. We have asked him to alert us when he next sees the lights so we can make our evaluations of what is out there. LAKE CHARLES -- J. R. Tibodeaux says, "I witnessed something very strange out side my home May 16, 1999, I was outside stargazing as I usually do. I noticed and odd looking light or star like object moving north at around 22:00 hours. At first I thought it was just a star, but as I watched I realized it was at 10,000 feet or so, and it was slowly descending. It finally came to a stop at around 500 feet above the ground and remained idle with no movement or noise. It was a triangular shape craft that had a blue glow to it and three bright purple lights one at each corner. This craft was enormous in size about 300 feet across. It stayed hovering over my house for at least 4 to 6 minutes. Then the craft's purple lights turned off and it emitted a whine noise and rapidly lifted up in the sky. It climbed to about 6000 feet. It accelerated and took off at a very high speed probably over 500 mph. It was out of my view within 20 seconds. This is the second time, I have witnessed a similar craft this year. Colin McFadden visited Mike Broussard Guestbook and posted the following sighting. Colin writes, "On May 6, 1999, I was backpacking in an area 85 miles south of Roswell. All week long I had heard military jets making rumbling noises doing training and testing in the area, but not making sonic booms. Thursday night, I was sitting outside my tent in the middle of the desert looking at the sky. Overhead, a plane about the size of mid sized commercial jet such as a 737 flew by at a very low altitude. A few hundred feet behind what my have been a 737 was a HUGE black aircraft. Its great size dwarfed the first jet. The black aircraft was dark so I could not actually see the whole shape. Based on the pattern of the lights, it looked like there was a fuselage with a single wing going off at a right angle. AREA 51 -- Frits Westra –- UFO Netherlands reports from "Kim and Keith." Yesterday, May 14, 1999, I saw my first UFO. I was flying from Phoenix to Oakland on an America West 737. We were approaching the Sierra Nevada's Mountains on a completely clear morning. They are now splendid with a late snow. I noticed we had flown over several commercial jetliners headed in the opposite direction. At about 9:15 AM, as I looked up from watching a jet pass under us, I clearly saw a black-looking angular aircraft. It was rising slowly from just below our altitude. It had no familiar shapes of wings or tail protruding, but it was definitely angular. It was maybe 5 miles away and I watched it for about a minute or two. I thought our pilots must certainly be aware of it, since it was a potential collision threat, being level with our jet. It's direction of travel was opposite to ours at first, but extremely slow. As I watched, it did not get smaller, as it surely would have at our speeds. Its motion ceased to be counter to ours, and instead, it stayed even with us. I kept my eyes on it in avid interest. Then, I glanced down for a blink of an eye, and when I looked up, it was totally absent from the sky! It could not have disappeared in that time period. After the flight, I spoke with the pilot. He said we had been over Area 51, when I saw the craft, but he had not seen it, or even been aware of it! The pilot said many strange craft are reported there. Guess this is another one. SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Maybe it's a bird, maybe it's a plane. But it is certainly sewage. And it's no joke in the Salt Lake Valley, where gobs of thick, raw sewage have fallen from the sky a dozen times since April 9, soiling as many as seven houses at once. Neighbors are pointing fingers at aircraft, but the Federal Aviation Administration says commercial jets aren't designed to jettison sewage. Sheriff's deputies are studying `splatter patterns'' and firefighters are hosing down houses. Prosecutors have assigned an investigator to the case and authorities are issuing stern warnings. `It has never been funny,'' said Mayor Janice Auger of hard-hit suburban Taylorsville. "The experience is really gross. The smell is terrible. This is a health issue. There's a lot of diseases in fecal matter.'' "It is feces, but they can't tell if it's animal or human,'' sheriff's Capt. Lee Smith said of the first lab tests on the foul emissions. Barry Taylor. UFO Researcher Australia writes. Regarding Robert Omega's statements in your files last week. He appears to be full of B.S. (Oz expression) he says.. "The triangular design has been found to be the most aerodynamic shape for travel, much as the United States' Stealth fighter." From my observations of REAL UFO's, the 'Disc'(lens) shape and 'sphere' are the most common, hence most efficient shaped craft for Space travel. Triangle craft may be used as 'scouts' based in Mother Ship 'cigars'. We all know that the Stealth fighter is a very unstable aircraft to fly (Hence the elaborate computer system to aid flight), and is not very aerodynamic as far as unpowered gliding is concerned. Remember the one that crashed into houses at an Air Show some time back? Robert Omega also said, "Omega's craft have the capability of traveling at speeds from two miles per hour to as fast as three times the speed of light." Niel Morris from Manchester, England sends a few comments on the pictures taken by Bond Johnson in General Ramey's office in July of 1947. I know Jesse Marcel has often said that his father always maintained that there was a mixture of debris in the pictures shot at Fort Worth. George Filer has said this too. Well, at last we may have some hard evidence that this might be true. There are two strings of what could be "numbers", that could be read as "7" "5" "3" etc. But in the left hand image you can make out what could quite easily be read as "3a 4 1/2" followed by possibly "J". These characters do seem to be nearer "normal" earthbound script than anything else on the debris. Elsewhere in the pictures the style, characters, and the "number strings" show a distinct change of style in these "symbols." The number "5" character is actually constructed, very unlike how I would write or print a 5. Looking closely at the characters the "normal" interpretation is a little open, as there are a number of markings and symbols close by and also associated with the characters, which cannot be interpreted as "normal" in content. The more I look at the construction of the "3a" the more I feel this is in fact a single symbol who's lower section is badly registered in the picture, but I can't account for the "1/2" in this way. I could be quite wrong with this interpretation but I thought it should be aired. I'm not too happy at giving these a total thumbs up as being conclusively "earthbound" numbers? Any comments gratefully received. The other features shown is "the emblem" as seen from a slightly different angle in the General Ramey alone photo. The decorative nature of the design though the "mouth" symbol doesn't show up too well. There is an "interesting" piece of metallic looking debris, that sits on the "white" material that the "emblem" is found on. It looks like an animal head with two eyes that's looking at the camera. (Note) It doesn't seem very logical to draw pictures of animals and strange symbols on a Mogul Balloon.

Neil Morris continues, "I've been forced to have a rethink regarding the 'emblem' at the top left corner of the message held in General Ramey's hand. I'm currently part way through a new set of images reflecting this. I decided to give the "emblem" another look-over this time from another scan from the collection I'm assembling. This has borne fruit as I now think I can give a reasonably accurate description of just what the "emblem" or more correctly the "seal" looked like. Tracing the rounded pattern further I realized it's actually a "circular" feature if you compensate for the geometry of the folded sheet of paper. Also when this compensation is done a very symmetrical feature in the center of this "circle" became apparent. I came across a document dated 1950, that had in it's top left corner the seal of the US Department of Defense that seems to match! The symmetrical features were the wings of the US Eagle holding the arrows of war in it's claws! To the left of the Eagle there is still the distinct "delta" arrow feature. I'm hoping when I've completed a "mockup" of this Seal, it will tell us just where the Ramey Message originated!" Thanks to Neil Morris at: eil and


CANADA -- The Circles Phenomenon Research Team reports as we head into the last summer before the new millennium, the crop circles are once again returning to fields around the world. There are a dozen formations now in England as of this update (all in oil-seed rape -- canola in North America) and the first report for this year in Germany. The circle season in England got off to its earliest start of any year so far, with the first formation reported in early April. There is an interesting array of overlapping circles and rings. One crop circle appears to include a 617 foot depiction of this summer's upcoming major eclipse? There are old-style early '90s type pictograms and crescents. Will they also return to Canada? Time will tell since most formations in Canada are reported in late July or August. If you see or hear of any reports of possible circles, please do let us know! Author Nick Redfern reports a break through in proving UFO data was hidden by the Official Secrets Act and the Joint Intelligence Committee. Has the British Government ever used the Official Secrets Act to silence those implicated in the UFO subject? To those armchair researchers who proclaim that such an idea is absurd, I say: 'Think again.' In my first book, A Covert Agenda, I presented clear evidence via officially released documents now available at the Public Record Office at Kew, that in both 1953 and 1956 orders were circulated throughout the RAF warning personnel not to talk about the UFO issue outside of official channels. However, the records which had been declassified at the time I wrote the book did not directly reference the OSA or its potential use from a ufological perspective. Nevertheless, I was also able to present the testimony of a number of individuals who asserted that the OSA had been used to keep the truth surrounding UFOs under wraps. Through a file that I secured only days ago from the PRO, I am now able to prove conclusively that UFOs and the Official Secrets Act go hand in hand. Exactly why the Government has chosen to release this file is a mystery in itself, given that it sharply contradicts past assertions. The file titled 'UFO Policy' covers the period 1958 to 1963 and revolves around UFO investigations undertaken by various Air Ministry departments during that time frame. Contained within the file is a 6-page document dating from December 1960 and circulated at 'Secret' level throughout the Royal Air Force. Like earlier papers, it details the procedures to be followed in the event that military radar operators, RAF pilots, civil pilots or members of the public should report a UFO. Interestingly, however, the paper in question contains two eye-opening revelations. First, it states that in situations where UFOs were tracked on radar, any military aircraft in the vicinity were to be diverted from their normal flight to 'investigate the phenomena.' Second, and far more significant, is the Air Ministry's overwhelming desire to prevent the media and the public learning about such intrusions, trackings and interceptions. I quote from the paper in question: 'The Press are never to be given information about unusual radar sightings. Unauthorized disclosures of this type will be viewed as offences under the Official Secrets Act.

Editor's Note: When flying for the USAF in February of 1962, we were in orbit for refueling operations over the North Sea at 30,000 feet in our KB-50 J tanker aircraft. At 9:00 PM, London Control excitedly notified us that they had an unidentified object hovering between Oxford and Stonehenge at around 1,000 feet altitude. We were asked if we were willing to investigate? Our refueling mission was about over, so we quickly agreed to chase their UFO. We were given an intercept heading and started to dive toward the UFO. This was really fun and exciting compared to a standard mission. I never could recall such speed and power as our six engines were advanced to full military power as we dove on the target. London Control was diverting commercial aircraft to clear our path for the intercept. Then we realized we were above our red lined maximum speed and had trouble slowing our aircraft. London Control started giving our distance to the hovering UFO. They called out your 100 miles apart, 60, and 40. At about 30 miles my APS-23 Radar seem to pick up the hovering UFO directly ahead. It was an exceptionally large radar return reminding me of a large bridge or a ship such as a destroyer. This craft was as big or bigger than anything I had seen in the air before. The return was sharp and solid as compared to the fuzziness of a rain cloud. I felt this craft must be made of steel or strong metal. We were doing around 425 mph as we approached to about ten miles, when it apparently realized we were intercepting. It was a dark night, we could only see a series of dim lights directly ahead. Now only five miles separated us. Suddenly the UFO seemed to come alive, the lights brightened and the UFO accelerated in a launch similar to the Space Shuttle at night. We saw much brighter lights and fantastic acceleration almost straight up and suddenly it was gone. We asked London Control, "If they had any rocket launches in the area?" London Control seemed as disappointed as we were. The controller said, "There are no rocket launches in that area, thank you for the intercept, you are now cleared to return to your mission." Our mission was no longer a priority and we had to fly the normal routine traffic patterns. It is clear they felt there was a strong return for the 20 to 25 minutes it had taken to reach the UFO. We had been cleared directly through various altitudes, airways and commercial traffic so they must have considered this mission very important. I can still see that return in my mind's eye and I've been chasing UFOs ever since.
