Shape: Cylinder
Size: 2cm long - could use a 50 cent piece to cover 1 of the objects.
Colour: White & Green
Direction: West
Observation: From South
Clouds: 1/2 & 1/2
Duration: 20 minutes

Report:

Ann said:
My son and I went outside to look at the night sky, my son E had a science project for school home work part of his home work he had to go outside and watch the night sky for 20 minutes taking note of what he saw.

Ann said:
It was amazing we have never seen anything like it before, we called my husband and my other sons to come look at it.

There was 8 to 10 lights one in the center outer ones cylinder shape around 2.5 cent long.

I asked Ann to hold her arm out and try to imagine what size coin would cover one of the objects noting 50 cent as the largest.

Ann said:
It would have to be a 50 cent, they were very fluorescent in brightness and glowing green. The lights flickered on and off so quickly its hard to say what can compare the flickering with because I've never seen anything go on and off like that.

While we watched, the object in the center shoot short rapid beams of light out of the center of it. The beam of light looked solid almost, I mean if you have nothing in your mind to compare what you're seeing with something you've seen before then I can't really compare it with anything I've ever seen before.

My son E aged 9 didn't seem to react to much to the sight, I can only put this down to him doing space and science at school he may have thought thats something thats meant to be up there, but we didn't.

The light then shoot off west. The next day when I took my son to school I asked if anyone else had seen anything strange in the sky, no nothing.

Still under investigation.
