Description: Ok, anyone reading this should now, this is my first EVER posting of this sort. So for all skeptics out there, no, I'm not some nut who sees ufo's every other day, nor do I have missing time, nor have been abducted (not to slight those that have experienced such).

Any case, I am on parental leave with my newly born son and it's a beautiful summer day in Toronto. I have my child in our local playground (Sauraren Park) by High Park (in Parkdale actually). I'm enjoying this spectacular day sitting on the picnic bench. The park is pretty full, so I sit beside an older Italian lady (seems to look like a grandmother).

I look, for some reason, look up and I see a tiny silvery object very high in the sky. It appears to be verrry high up. I think nothing of it.

A minute later I look up again, and I see that it is still there only it has moved slightly over to the west by several 'inches' (in my perspective - in actuallity, it's possibly like, I don't know, 40 to 50 feet.

So I decide to watch it longer.

No zig zagging. No sudden darting in and out. No cigar shapes. No sudden blasting into outer space or into the horizon. I simply slowely moves in a westerly direction.

I'm now guessing that it simply is a childs balloon. Afterall, I've done and seen this before. Balloons can go pretty high up.

Well I watch this 'ball' for another 5 or 8 minutes. It is incredibly steady in movement, almost very slow, but verrry steady. This is my reasoning that it isn't a balloon, as it is not changing direction due to wind currents etc.

After around 10 whole minutes of watching this thing. I look at my neighbor who is sitting beside me, the old Italian lady. She is looking at it too. She looks at me, I look at her. I quirk my eye brow, she looks at me with a relativley blank stare, but not in any sort of mockery or condescending fashion. More like an acknowledgement that she too sees whatever it is that I see.

I measure now that it has moved around a quarter of my field of vision of the sky and I have looked at it for over 15 minutes. My neck is straining, I'm fearing that others will think I'm nuts. I just give up.

Days later, my buddy and I are at the same park and I tell him of my 'sighting'. We talk about the whole ufo thing, blah blah blah... We look up, ha ha... you'll never guess. There is a giant perfect circle shaped cloud directly over head of us (at regular cloud heights whatever that is). I really don't think either incidents are related, but that was freaky in an 'x-fles' kind of way...

that's my two cents!

Color/Shape: tiny ball, silvery, whitish.

Height & Speed: much higher than commercial airliners. going, say, 5 or 10 km/hr. Very sllloww. Westerly direction.

TV/Radio/Press: not aware of any.
