Follow-up by Brian Vike:

BRIAN: I hope my letter finds you well. I just received your sighting report from John Hayes at UFOINFO. My name is Brian Vike, director of HBCC UFO Research in Houston, British Columbia, Canada and I follow-up reported sightings for the fellows.

I hope you wouldn't mind answering a few questions about the sighting so it gives us a better idea of what you saw.

First of all, how many witnesses observed the sighting ?

BRIAN:How long approx: did the sighting last for ? From when you first noticed the lights, to when they disappeared.

HEAVY D: 11 pm to about 11:45 pm

BRIAN: You mentioned that the lights seemed to go in different directions. Can you please tell me what directions the lights were observed heading. Were there more than one light traveling in one direction ?

HEAVY D: 2 went south - at different times, 3 went east - at different times, the one that seemed to hover was north west direction.

BRIAN: Also can you give an approx: idea of how high the lights were. Thinking of where one might see a large jet airliner flying, or a small fixed wing aircraft.

HEAVY D: I have a 7*35 binoculars, and i could not distinguish an actual shape. They were very bright, and only one light per object. I thought they might be helicopters, or planes at first, but since some seemed to "jut" (zig zag) in and out at times.

BRIAN: Were the lights very bright ? Also what color were they ? The lights were close to and brighter than some stars. The sky was very clear.

HEAVY D: They were a bright yellow color with a little blue tinge.

BRIAN: Was any sound detected coming from the objects ? No sounds.

BRIAN: The one light which hovered at about 500 meters in a distant field. What was the color of this object, and how long did you watch this light hover for, before it left or blinked out ?

HEAVY D: Same color as rest. I hovered for about 25 minutes, then just disapeared.

BRIAN: One more thing, when you watched the object hovering, where were all the other lights ?

HEAVY D: The other ones were over head - west or east.

BRIAN: I hope you can answer some of the question I have asked, plus if you can give anymore detail to the sighting, I would very much appreciate it.

I can't thank you enough for helping in trying to figure out what was witnessed.

Take good care.

HEAVY D: Just a note: I do not actually believe in "Aliens" , it just seemed odd the way they (the lights) were moving. I have not seen anything like this before, even when i use to fly helicoperts at night.
