Something to add to your list, last evening around 19:30 my wife and I were out walking. In the eastern sky there appeared to be a very bright satellite. It appeared to be moving north easterly somewhere close to or above the foothills. I commented that it seemed to be moving far to fast for a satellite and my wife said that maybe it was a plane. Didn't think much more of it until 1/2 hour later as I was walking my daughter to a friend's house and there it was again except is was further south in the sky parallel to Calgary but moving a little slower. It moved a few kilometers and then seemed to move almost instantly about 50 kilometers closer but still over the foothills to the west. When I got home I got my binoculars and took a closer look. The object appeared somewhat round with lights along the top (very bright) a band and then an additional number of less luminous lights on the bottom. It well may have been jets as I noticed the snowbirds in Calgary earlier in the day but there it is for your information.

Kindest Regards,

Thank you to the witness for the report.
