UFO Sighting Report - Canada

Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.

With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.

July 1st 2006 : Brooklin, Ontario

Brooklin, Ontario Loud Sound And Nothing To Be Seen

Date: July 1st (?)
Time: Approx: 2:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: It wasn't a sighting is was a loud engine noise.
Number of witnesses: 1

Full Description of event/sighting: I was swimming in my pool like I do everyday at about 2:00pm or so. I hear what sounds like a 747. I'm thinking it's really low to the ground because of the loud noise it's making. I don't get care about loud noises, they don't scare me. I'm a grown man and pretty tough I would say. No noise is going to scare me off. But picture this. The sky is as blue as it gets, and for about 2 minutes this noise gets louder and louder and louder with no plane any where. Like a scared little school girl I call out to my neighbor who I thought was working on his deck in his yard. No answer. I literally went in the house to get out of the way. There was no plane. There was no plane, nothing makes that noise in the air except a plane. I don't know anymore.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Abductions and Aliens: What's Really Going On?

- Chris A. Rutkowski

.....Chris Rutkowski, author of Abductions and Aliens: What's Really Going On?, approaches his subject straight-on. He reports more than thirty cases of UFO experiences, ranging from the disturbed student, Emily, at the University of Winnipeg, to the Brazilian farmer who seems to be the first human to inseminate an alien (in 1957), to the strange case of Stefan Michalak, whose experience with a UFO at Falcon Lake, Manitoba, in 1967 left him with radioactive material in his chest. Not all experiences are alike: in some cases the aliens are tall, in others short; sometimes they're green, more often they're grey......The Author is the acknowledged Canadian expert on UFOs - a status he quickly explains does not require formal training or education. All it really takes is curiosity -something we all admit to _ and the time to investigate hundreds of claims and reports. By profession, he is an astronomer and past president of the Winnipeg Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Since 1989, he has tabulated on an annual basis each previous year's UFO sightings - province by province.....
