Shape of objects: Oblong

Weather Conditions: Fine

Description: Large oblong or cigar shaped object/glow in the sky in the distance moving horizontally & steadily, silently backwards and forwards, with a bright orange glow underneath that looked like a flame. This flame/ glow kept going out and then comming back again like a hot air balloon but it was dark and the object kept moving backwards and forwards for around five minutes before the glow disappeared suddenly.

UFOINFO Note: I wrote to the witness asking if there was any chance what was seen might have been a tethered object and received the following reply:

It was too high and too dark, sorry.
